Description
Marianna’s handmade pies are produced by the women’s cooperative of Nea Gonia, the Goniatisses. It all began in the mid-2000s when Marianna Kazaki and her friends, Evgenia Kazana, Eleni Kazaki, and Roula Tsiotsi, decided to turn their hobby into a business. With ingredients purchased daily by the Kazakis House of Viticulture, Marianna’s recipes, and their daily labor, Goniatisses make Marianna’s handmade pies every day. Always with the quality of Marianna’s other products, and always unmatched in taste. Marianna’s handmade Minced Meat Pie is made in small batches each time, using only the best ingredients. It contains 240 grams of freshly ground mixed (veal and pork) meat per kilogram of pie, with fresh leek and onion, truly embodying the term “meat pie” with a balanced result. The pie is made with hand-rolled dough, prepared daily by the Goniatisses, using only flour from Halkidiki. Marianna’s handmade Meat Pie is already available in selected Greek and Mediterranean product stores throughout Greece. It is also used in restaurants and hotels that offer Greek breakfast. Without preservatives or other additives, Marianna’s handmade Meat Pie goes straight from the freezer to the oven and is ready to enjoy after proper baking.
